Happy Birthday

Little Ricky celebrated his First Birthday with his cousins Saturday. Yep I remember when I was a year old, I had a cupcake...this kid gets a full sheet layer cake! No really, Ricky got a barber kit and a shaver for his birthday.

Old Smokey Top

Mt. Saint Helens got a nice dusting of snow in the last few days. The snow level has lowered to 6,000 feet and with the rain systems that are starting to come in now that its October, the mountains are just starting to put on their winter coats of snow.

Today was cool and cloudy in the morning and by afternoon, sunny and warmer. Leaves are starting to turn now in Puget Sound and I am waiting for the first opportunity to test the fireplace.

Halloween is Coming!

Its October and that means Halloween is just a few more weeks away! Time to get out the
