The cartoon special "A Charlie Brown Christmas" turns 40 this Dec 9 th. I remember watching this beloved Christmas cartoon in the late sixties and then wanting a beagle like Snoopy. When I didn't get a dog for Christmas, I just drew my own "Snoopy" dog in my drawing books and was pretty happy with that arrangement.
So be sure to catch "A Charlie Brown Christmas" this year, this is one Christmas special that has stood the test of time with its simple message..."Peace on Earth, Good will towards men."
